I have lots of lovely memories of Clare from Dr Challoner's. The first ones though are when I moved to the UK and Chalfont St Giles one term into the second year and Clare and I walked to the bus together. She was so kind and welcoming to me as a "new girl" and I remember we would buy sweets on the way to school even though I wasn't actually allowed to! I was in awe of her energy, carefree nature and joy for life.

I can so clearly picture her now, her cheeky facial expressions, fantastic laugh, they way she made everything fun. I send all my love to her family and close friends who must be finding this so hard. No words can lessen your loss but I hope it helps you to know that Clare was seen as simply amazing and unique by all who knew her, not just those she was close to.
